Virtual Magic Show for Client Engagement and Appreciation

Virtual Magic Show: Case Study

To engage and thank their customers, Undertone hired me to present my virtual magic show.

Length of Program & Content:

Presenting a 45-minute program via Zoom, I engaged the intimate audience of clients and families with sophisticated sleight-of-hand, family-friendly magic, clean comedy and mind-bending mentalism.

The program was broadcast from my studio, using 3-camera angles to create a professionally produced show. Audience members watched interactive close-up magic from the overhead camera, closer than they would in real life. The wide-view, with a large TV placed behind me, gave them the ability to see the entire audience and specific spectators as I interacted with them one-on-one.

Audience Engagement:

Audience members were called out by name and asked to participate. Along with watching and participating in the show, audience members received a surprise package in the mail several days before the show. Every household received a custom-branded pack of playing cards they would use to participate in a magic trick. At the end of the show I even taught everyone a magic trick they could do themselves using the company logo-branded deck of cards.

The background of my studio featured the company name, which I transformed as the show went on, adding the participants name on the sheet and having each individual trick build to a greater conclusion centered around the company name.

Customized, Branded Magic Featuring The Company Name

To highlight the company name, I created two custom-branded magic tricks. As a marketing company, Undertone appreciated the additional branding.

One magic trick featured their company name appearing magically on the side of a deck of cards. The second was a personalized finale that was built around the Undertone name.

This magic trick is fully customizable to any organization. It not only finishes the show, but unites all the participants, calling back (the way a great comedian does) to every previous trick the audience experienced.

Why Magic

Undertone creates synchronized digital branding and ad experiences for their clients. They motivate and inspire audiences, driving business results for brands.

Engaging me to present a virtual magic show for their clients gave them the opportunity to create a unique customer experience. In reaching out to their customers in such a positive way, they did for themselves what they typically do for their clients: stand out, be noticed and remembered.

A virtual magic show allows any organization to invite their clients, employees and families to gather together in the comfort of their own home. Not limited by travel or time zones, businesses are using these virtual opportunities to engage their communities and build their business.
